Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort Offers Romantic Spa & Dinner Package for Valentine’s Day

Couples’ Package Includes Water and Wine-based Treatments and Ixchel Dinner in the Cenote Spa

Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort in Riviera Maya is gearing up for Valentine’s Day by offering guests romantic spa and dinner packages in the award-winning Cenote Spa.
For guests looking to relax and wine-and-dine with their loved ones, the “Romance Package” combines is designed to celebrate love and union with a special couple’s experience that kicks off with an Energy Balance massage that is highlighted by wine-infused essential oils (Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Merlot, or Champagne) that are used as aphrodisiac enhancers during the massage experience. After the 60-minute massage, the couple is invited to rinse off in the chromotheraphy shower, which serves to activate the body’s seven chakras.
Following the spa treatment, the couples will delight their palates with a private, romantic Ixchel dinner in the mystic-enhanced atmosphere of the Cenote Sanctuary, curated by the culinary team from The Grill at 1 26. While seated atop the waters of the Cenote with floating candles illuminating the space, guests will have the option of three exclusive menus designed for seafood aficionados, meat lovers, or vegetarians, inspired by Ixchel, the God of Love. A 72-hour reservation notice is recommended.

For guests interested in simpler, rejuvenating spa with their partner, the In Ha package provides a unique and authentic renewal experience. Beginning with a Janzu massage in the Cenote, which will promote a deep state of relaxation and dramatically decrease muscle tension, the treatment then continues with the 90-minute Signature Energy Balance massage, followed by a light lunch in the spa lounge.
The Cenote Spa is a 6,000 square-foot spa, renowned for its originality, concept and innovation that captures the serenity and beauty of Mexico’s iconic freshwater sinkholes in its design through a combination of intricate stonework detail, dramatic lighting and soothing textures. The impressive Cenote-shaped architecture of the facility invites guests to experience true relaxation and boasts subdued tones, a rich color palate, tall ceilings and natural décor to complement the vibrant green of the surrounding protected mangrove jungle. Designed by Sordo Madaleno Group, the Cenote Spa was recently named winner of the Best of Year 2015 project award by Interior Design magazine.

“Cenote Spa is an extraordinary feature of our resort, offering one-of-a-kind meditation and rejuvenation opportunities for our guests and visitors,” said Juan Mercadante, general manager of Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort. “We are excited to be offering these unique and romantic Valentine’s Day packages, which fall perfectly in line with our #momentsofmore campaign designed to create top-notch experiences for our guests.”
