19th Annual National Congress on Convention Tourism to be Held in León, Guanajuato, Aug 8-11

MEXICO CITY – The Tourism Secretariat (Sectur) announced Thursday that the 19th Annual National Congress on Convention Tourism will be held from August 8 to 11 in León, Guanajuato. The goal of the event is to strengthen the convention and meeting sector of the tourism industry, which generates $32.5 million per year.

“The 2012 National Congress on Convention Tourism has the objective of unveiling new products, supporting production chains, and improving training for tourism industry professionals to increase the competitiveness of Mexico in this industry,” said Sectur Development of Tourism Products general director Raúl Montes Elizondo.
