Festival Will Spotlight a Major Mexican Film Followed by a Gala Celebration of Latino Film, Food and Culture
Newport Beach, Calif. – On Wednesday, April 30th, 2014 the Newport Beach Film Festival will present its 15th annual Mexican Spotlight, an evening celebration of Mexican cinema and culture. The Spotlight will screen the regional premiere of the Mexican feature film, The Amazing Catfish (Los Insólitos Peces Gato).

The Mexican Spotlight film will screen at Edwards Big Newport (300 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach, CA 92660).

The post-screening celebration will take place at the Via Lido Plaza (3459 Via Lido, Newport Beach, CA 92663). The event will include select tastings from top Orange County restaurants, traditional entertainment as well as multiple DJs. Hosted bar by Stella Artois and Tito’s Vodka.
The Newport Beach Film Festival Mexican Spotlight is supported by National Association of Latino Independent Producers, Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Visit Mexico, Latin Heat Magazine, W 690 AM, Portal Languages and Para Todos.
