LOS CABOS, Baja California, Mexico – Women adore Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort for myriad reasons, from its intimate and innovative holistic spa to its magically romantic ambiance. Now, the Five Diamond resort’s spa has added another path to bliss for female guests:  The Bride’s New Beginning Ritual.

The inspirational ritual was created to prepare the bride together with all her bridesmaids, spiritually and emotionally, for the important ceremony and events to come, while creating positive energy for the bride’s new beginning in life.

“The Bride’s New Beginning Ritual evokes the blessings of the earth, deepest friendship and the most heartfelt love, bringing together the bride-to-be and her bridesmaids in an unforgettable pre-wedding experience,” explained Director of Romance Esmeralda Silva.  “It opens new doors of spiritual giving and intimate exchange for the bridesmaids and their beautiful bride.”

Conducted in the Solarium of  The Spa at Las Ventanas, the ritual begins with a Holistic Twilight Ceremony. With numerous candles illuminating the open-air Solarium and crystal bowls resonating with beautiful harmonic tones, a Maya ritual is performed with sage smoke and shaman prayers that honors mother earth and the Four Elements, taps positive energy and reaches out for eternal love.

The Holistic Twilight Ceremony is followed by a 60-minute massage for the bride and each bridesmaid, which is personalized to each person’s needs and requests. Completing the experience are two take-home gifts for everyone:  a natural quartz to remember the moment forever, and a personal care product specially formulated with Four Elements ingredients.

The Spa at Las Ventanas has been showered with awards and enjoyed years of international recognition for its innovative menu of treatments and therapies, beautiful and peaceful flower-filled garden environment, and highly skilled staff. The Spa has gained a reputation for addressing every essential of the mind, soul and body well-being while utilizing a singular holistic approach to treatments.

Lovers from many countries come to Las Ventanas to celebrate this most important of days for many tangible reasons, from the stunning ambiance and dramatic setting on the Sea of Cortez to the unsurpassed service and pampering.  An intangible, however, may even be more telling – the magic of Las Ventanas. The resort is such a romantic place that men often propose to their sweethearts here, then the couple returns to get married and comes back for anniversaries. The result is that about a third of Las Ventanas’ business comes from proposals, weddings, vow renewals and anniversaries.

Las Ventanas al Paraíso

Weddings at Las Ventanas are ultra-extravagant and intimate affairs. Most are celebrated on The Plaza, with its spectacular panoramas of sea and coastline, and usually at sunset when the sky is emblazoned with brilliant colors. The beach is often preferred for more causal, intimate ceremonies. The maximum that may be accommodated for a wedding is 60 guests. Receptions are usually held in the Private Event Room which opens completely to a beautiful inlaid-pebble terrace allowing guests to dine and dance both indoors and outdoors under the star-studded Baja sky.

La Cava for the Groom and groomsmen

For groom’s, rehearsal and other dinners, a favorite is the enchanting La Cava, the private wine cellar where you dine among thousands of bottles of the world’s finest vintages. The bride-to-be and her wedding party often arrive early to enjoy pre-wedding festivities focusing on special treatments and therapies at The Spa.

Las Ventanas has been among the world’s most heralded resorts since it opened in 1997. It brought, for the first time, the highest international standards of luxury and service to Los Cabos and played a lead role in elevating it to Mexico’s most upscale destination. Las Ventanas features 71 exceptionally spacious suites with exquisite furnishings, unique appointments hand-crafted by Mexican artisans, magnificent views and individual telescopes for stargazing;  three different dining choices including The Restaurant, the Sea Grill and the Tequila, Ceviche & Sushi Bar;  and the most extensive  array of ultra-luxury amenities of any resort, from poolside butlers to a Department of Romance dedicated to making guests’ romantic dreams come true.
