The MEXICO Report Called a Go-To Site for Voluntourism in Mexico by SFGate.com

We are thrilled to report that The MEXICO Report was recently referenced as a go-to site for voluntourism opportunities in Mexico by SFGate.com (home of the San Francisco Chronicle) in an article by Christine Delsol.

In her piece, “Voluntouring Offers New Way to Experience Mexico,” Delsol states:

“There are hundreds of ways to find volunteer positions. If you’re a Mexico veteran with a fondness for a particular area, ask the people you meet for suggestions, check with the local tourist board, get on the mailing list of local newsletters (those written by expatriates, especially, tend to keep tabs on needy causes) and bookmark newsy, local websites. Check The Mexico Report’s list of nonprofits for any volunteer opportunities that appeal to you.”

Our amigos, Destination PEACE owned and operated by Katherine Fisher, and Go Overseas were also given mention in the special feature.

Our sincere thanks to Christine Delsol for presenting these opportunities in this realm for all to see that travelers can combine volunteering+tourism (voluntourism) with any itinerary and all of the positive and rewarding benefits involved.
