Star-Studded Viva La Lucha Event During ComicCon San Diego July 22

It has been seven years since Viva La Lucha ran a live event in San Diego, CA.  Now, a TV pilot and six Pay Per View spectaculars later, Viva La Lucha returns to where it all began for one incredible night of lucha libre action on Friday, July 22.
Part of the Masked Republic multi-media entertainment company focused on producing premiere television programming and live events and promoting lucha libre and the sport’s stars through the first officially licensed apparel and merchandising available throughout the world, Viva La Lucha regularly features the biggest names in the industry and the stars will be stepping into the ring in San Diego.

In the main event it will be lucha legends LA Park (the original La Parka) and Konnan teaming with spectacular 3rd generation star Hijo De Rey Misterio as they battle three vile Americans in former NWA Worlds Champion Adam Pearce, former WWE Smackdown superstar SiNN “Kizarney” Bohdi, and Pearce’s American Psycho.

The show will also feature lucha legend Solar, international stars Black Tiger IV, Puma, and TJP, rising stars including Pro Wrestling Revolution Jr. Heavyweight Champion Famous B, ladies from Masked Republic’s Lucha Las Vegas show NY Knockout Nicky and Buggy, and more.

Presented in association with JSR Merchandising, the festivities in San Diego will actually kick off the day prior as JSR unveils the all-new Masked Republic apparel line in their booth at the San Diego Comic Con.   The first set of these officially licensed shirts feature the likenesses of LA Park, Konnan, Solar, Rayo De Jalisco Jr, Rey Misterio Sr, and Hijo De Rey Misterio.

Signing autographs at the JSR booth at Comic Con (Booth #114) will be LA Park, Konnan, Hijo De Rey Misterio, Solar, Black Tiger IV, Puma, Adam Pearce, SiNN, Buggy, and Lucha Las Vegas’ Manny Peeples.  For a complete listing of autograph session dates and times go to VivaLaLucha.com.
