Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism, Gloria Guevara will Speak in Dallas, Texas on Dec 16 at the Dallas-Ft. Worth Kellogg Alumni Club (as Guevara is a Kellogg alumna herself.)

When Mexican President Felipe Calderón appointed Gloria Guevara to the prestigious role of Mexico’s Secretary of Tourism in March 2010, he stated that “she has the credentials and expertise needed to promote tourism in Mexico.” The former Director of Sabre Travel Network México, Guevara has been recognized as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Mexico”.

 

Thanks to her efforts in creating synergy between the government and travel agents, tourism is up 20% from 2009.

Some of the issues she will address include: growing a tourism industry, how the Kellogg Network plays a role and what deals are out there to visit Mexico.
