Corazon de Vida Foundation’s 4th Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Kids of Baja California

Corazon de Vida logoCorazon de Vida Foundation will hold its 4th Annual La Notte Bianca event on Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Newport Beach, California. The event will be hosted by Richard Moriarty’s Newport Beach Vineyards and Winery and has become Corazon de Vida’s flagship event with high-profile attendees, complementary entertainment, and phenomenal collection of silent auction donations. To donate a silent auction item, see contact information below.

The annual fundraiser will benefit the Corazon de Vida Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting 14 orphanages, approximately 800 children, in Baja, Mexico between Tijuana and Ensenada.

Richard Moriarty and Loren Blackwood will host a VIP pre-event tasting for event sponsors, where guests will see the spectacular Lamborghini recently featured on HGTV’s Million Dollar Rooms. Guests donating $1,000 per couple will be honored as event sponsors and given an opportunity to attend the pre-event tasting.

Tickets for the event are $100 per person and provide access to the grounds, the beautiful wine cave, Estate Meritage tasting, a plentiful assortment of food pairings, entertainment and activities, and the noteworthy silent auction.

“We have silent auction donations with values starting at $20 up to several trips valued over $5,000. The silent auction has been a highlight of this event each year and we expect every attendee to go home satisfied with their win,” said Hilda Pacheco-Taylor, founder of Corazon de Vida.

Hilda Pacheco-Taylor founded Corazon de Vida 19 years ago after she revisited the orphanage where she grew up. She then took action to alleviate some of the financial challenges the homes were facing. Corazon de Vida also provides a source of accountability, management consulting, designated funding for projects, and safe volunteer bus trips for American volunteers.

Corazon de Vida’s 4th Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at Newport Beach Vineyards and Winery, 2128 Mesa Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660, (949) 500-0273.

About Corazon de Vida Foundation

Founded in 1994, Corazon de Vida (“CDV”) is a U.S. based non-profit organization supporting Baja Mexico orphanages providing children in dire need the necessities of shelter, food, clothing, education, and healthcare – as well as hope, compassion, and love. CDV not only financially supports orphanages in Baja, but also provides assistance through cross border visits by board members, staff, and volunteers. Our goal is to end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Baja and believe that every child’s life is valued and holds the same potential, excitement, and opportunity as any other life. We work together to make sure our care transforms into each child’s life for the future.
