About Corazon de Vida Foundation
Corazon de Vida (CDV) is a for-purpose organization providing life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja California, Mexico. Created more than 20 years ago by Hilda Pacheco-Taylor, one of the children from the orphanage, CDV’s mission is to end child abandonment by breaking the vicious cycle of poverty through support from a network of private orphanages funded entirely through individual and corporate donations.  For more than 20 years, Corazon de Vida has partnered with compassionate donors to change the odds, guided by the belief that every child should grow up in an environment that nurtures their potential.  CDV has centered its efforts on providing life-sustaining support, improving quality of life and providing education for over 500 children living in 10 orphanages in Baja.
