“We are looking forward to working with Amar and the chapter’s leadership team to provide the San Diego community with meaningful social interactions and international service opportunities.” said Corazon de Vida Founder, Hilda Pacheco-Taylor.

Corazon de Vida San Diego Chapter volunteer leadership team includes a Managing Director, an Operations Director and two to four Outreach Directors that provide local leadership. Chapter leaders are motivated by the desire to help the children of Baja and create opportunities for their communities to participate in events and activities that benefit the children of Baja.

“I am truly looking forward to building a strong network of individuals in San Diego County that are committed to improve the lives of these orphans. There is so much we can do to help and the goal of this chapter will be to facilitate different ways to get involved. I want everyone to experience how rewarding it is to spend time with the kids and to see the direct impact of our actions on their daily reality! I am very excited to join the Corazon de Vida family and to continue the hard work they have been doing for last 20 years” said Amar Harrag.

OUR GOAL: To end the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Baja.

OUR BELIEF: We believe that every child’s life is valued and holds the same potential, excitement, and opportunity as any other life. It is up to us to work together to make sure our care transforms into each child’s life for the future.
