2014 International Women’s Conference, We Move Forward, Set for March 7-9 in Isla Mujeres

We Move Forward 2014, the third Annual International Women’s Conference has been set for March 7-9, 2014 in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The 3-day event celebrates women through workshops, speakers, yoga, dance and more, focusing on body, mind and soul.

This year, We Move Forward is offering a broad line up of speakers.  Claire Cook, the noted author of “Must Love Dogs” is set to kick off this year’s program, followed by many inspirational activists, authors and visionaries from all walks of life. These women will inspire, enlighten and entertain attendees of the conference with their stories and messages. Daily keynote and featured speakers – women living with passion and purpose – will explore reinvention, creating your next chapter, international women’s issues, building your dream and much more.

Founder and Director Janeen Halliwell says, “For the third year, We Move Forward will bring together women from around the world for a three-day celebration of body, mind and spirit. It’s an event that many women have put on their calendars already.”

Keynote: Claire Cook – Critically acclaimed author & speaker
Professor Dina Haynes – Expert, international women’s issues
Lisa Koch – Seattle based singer and comedian
Jerusha Akatzin – Mayan historian

As ‘movement’ is a fundamental component of the program, We Move Forward will again offer morning yoga, followed by movement sessions throughout the day.  These sessions are led by world-class instructors, such as Kim Kraushar. Finally, this year’s program includes even more time to explore Isla Mujeres, the Island of Women.

At the end of the event, many participants have said their lives have been changed forever.
