Tianguis Turistico Mexico 2012

We arrived in Puerto Vallarta on Thursday evening, a city filled with the some of the best energy in Mexico. The airport signage for Tianguis was everywhere, welcoming visitors and those who are in the Mexico travel and tourism industry.

We’ve had wonderful meetings with travel partners and even stopped by the newly constructed convention center to register for the conference.  Last night we had a fabulous dinner at Vista Grill, a gourmet restaurant located up on the hill overlooking the entire Bay of Banderas, one of the best views in all of Vallarta.

Being back in Vallarta brings such good memories for me – this is a very friendly, safe and sophisticated city – and city that has experienced tremendous growth over the last decade.

I’m looking forward to the opening reception tomorrow night by boat and seeing friends in the Mexico travel industry.  All of the pre-meetings are taking place now, but the trade show officially runs March 25-28. Cheers to the Mexico Tourism Board, to Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit for hosting Tianguis Turistico 2012!
