The MEXICO Report

If you are planning a visit to Mérida, Yucatán, make sure to visit Rosas & Xocolate Boutique Hotel.  When I first posted that I was headed to Mérida, one of the first recommendations from a friend was to be sure see this hotel. Luckily, it was already on my agenda.

You can’t miss it.  It’s centrally located. It’s pink, it’s bright, it’s gorgeous inside.  And not only do they have top-notch accommodations and an elegant restaurant, they also have a fitness center, spa and a specialty chocolate shop.

I did not stay at the hotel, just toured the facility and stayed for appetizers on the second floor balcony overlooking the city.

Hi Susie, I stayed in the Rosas suite and it was blissful. The bathtub atrium is very cool and the whole concept is sensual, delicious and fresh. Chocolate soaps! The service and food were excellent (chicharron de pulpo…mmmm). I would have loved a chocolate-flavored spa treatment for dessert! Karol Kolasz’s vision is a dream. See you at Mundo Maya.
