When the opportunity arises, I usually ask someone if they’ve been to Mexico and if so, what they enjoy about it.  In the case of actress/singer Maria Conchita Alonso (born in Cuba, raised in Caracas, Venezuela), who has traveled to Mexico for more than a decade, I took the opportunity to ask her what she loved about it. I knew she loved Mexico, but I never knew why, until now.

“I have a lot of friends over there in different parts of the country. I love the tequila! I just love the nature, it’s amazing you can find anything and everything over there.  It’s fun, it’s a place where you can have fun not matter what, and the culture is amazing. I love the food!”

What you won’t see on the video (because my good ‘ol FLIP battery died right then) is that the next thing she said was that, in particular, she loved Puerto Vallarta!

Lots of celebs go to Mexico for vacation, leisure, marriage, honeymoons or just to have a fun adventure.  And when they talk about Mexico, we want to share the good news with you!
